About Louie & Jordin Rolle Mangrove Cay, Bahamas
Greetings and welcome to the families of Louie (b. 1825) and Jordin (b. 1827) Rolle of Exuma, The Bahamas.

Records show that they both migrated to the settlement of Grants, Mangrove Cay, Andros, The Bahamas in the 1850s. Their parents were Adam (b. 1894) and Peggy (b. 1898) of Exuma, The Bahamas. Their three (3) older siblings were Bella, Deborah and Thomas. The family were slaves of Lord John Rolle of Devon, England. Slavery was abolished on 1 August 1834.

It is a well know fact that Lord Rolle possessed five (5) Plantations, namely, Rolletown (the first Plantation), Steventon (Stevenstone, the name of one of his estates in Devon), Rolleville, Ramsey & Mt. Thompson. Todate, I have not positively identified Adam's and Peggy's Exuma Plantation.

I have over these past more than forty-five (45) years enjoyed the fascination of the family search and research. Please feel free to contact me at davyfrolle@hotmail.com if you have any queries.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
